Episode 194- BEEPBEEP Double Kill

This week everyone's in a nice post-Thanksgiving mood. Ok, "nice" may be a subjective term here. It's a fun show everyone, so buckle up! There's lots of discussion about Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and the craziness that follows Thanksgiving. As for games: Grif tried out Little Nightmares even though she's not a fan of platformers. Baka had a great savior play in PUBg. Chicken started Injustice 2 and he has some interesting thoughts on the progression system. And Oak is addicted to Destiny 2. Speaking of D2, the game was in the news this week for some interesting XP fluctuations. A Belgium group has decided the loot box system is gambling and plans to move forward with new laws and structuring. And Epic is suing a 14 year old for Fortnite vidoes he posted on YouTube. All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 163- Dumping Battlenet & Defending Microtransactions

This week Oak's been exploring Horizon Zero Dawn, Baka is jumping back into Fallout 4, & Grif's making her sister cry with The Last of Us. In a Dungeons & Dragons update, Baka's half-orc character runs from a fight as though he was a scared kid. In the news , Nintendo has managed to fix the issue with the Switch's left Joy-con. Blizzard dumped the Battlenet launcher in favor of calling it... well, Blizzard. WoW is about to get a huge patch that should open the Tomb of Sargeras and more. Ubisoft is defending the mass amounts of Steele needed to unlock everything in For Honor which spurs a conversation about the state of microtransactions in games. Mass Effect Andromeda is getting a patch to start repairing some of the broken things in the game. It doesn't fix everything, but at least it's progress. Right? A poster may have leaked the launch date for Destiny which leads to a discussion on timed exclusive content. All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 162- Addictions, Failed Animations, & Disappointing DLC

Oak's MIA but that doesn't stop the rest of the cast from having a good time. Baka's back with a sob story about his gaming PC. Chicken's been playing Banished and things are getting creepy. Grif finished Halo with her sister and, as it turns out, SisLynam is pretty good at not murdering her teammates! Grif's also fallen into a new addiction. This time it's Mass Effect! Speaking of the ME series, Mass Effect Andromeda has come under fire for some questionable animations. From there the crew gets distracted by talking about glitches in other games. We'd love to hear your favorite glitches, share 'em at InfiniteRespawn.com! The Nintendo Switch has been hacked, but the damage is pretty minimal. Are the online gaming communities starting to improve in decency? And, to the disappointment of many, Capcom has confirmed that it really is Chris Redfield who will be introduced in the upcoming DLC. All this and more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 161- Link’s Fowl Weapons & Speed Running

Chicken's been watching lots of Nintendo speed running while playing his usual games. Grif and her sister played Layers of Fear together. Were they too scared to make it to the end of the game? And is SisLynam as into Halo as Grif? In the news, there was game play footage of Shadow of War this week and everyone's in love! Chickens are super weapons in Breath of the Wild! Speed runners are already finding faster ways to travel in the new Zelda world! The crew gets a little sidetracked talking about whether or not speed runners can still enjoy the games they play. And there's a possible Just Cause movie in the works. Can there be a successful movie based on a game that's largely about blowing random stuff up? All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 159- Gaming Burnouts & Switch Issues

Chicken and Baka are still working on For Honor, but they've taken a break to try out Ghost Recon Wildlands. That's been quite the adventure thus far. Grif gets all agro right out of the gate after people complain about Blizzard not forcing people to take breaks while playing WoW. Is Mythic raiding getting out of hand? In a follow up to last week's story about $10K worth of missing SNES games has a happy ending! Nintendo's Switch might have a few issues at launch, we'll give you a brief rundown on that problem. Blizzard's teasing new Overwatch characters but will it be who we think it is? Future Halo games will come standard with split-screen co-op. Does this signal a return to the franchise's roots? All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 141- League of Changes

This week's podcast is a bit on the wonky side. After tons of tech problems, this week's show was recorded offline. There's issues with the audio and video here and there, apologies for those few snags. Anyway, the crew holds it together and talks news, opinions and more! WoW's making changes to lore. If you want to skip the spoilers, that portion starts at 12:00, jump ahead to 24:10. There's a game that's not an Overwatch clone but it does look really similar... Is it a copycat or not? Changes are coming to the eSports side of League of Legends and it seems like the start of a beautiful thing. Maybe this is first step to Riot making a the eSports world better for their players and team owners. And finally Ubisoft is making a few changes to The Division that they hope will allow players more freedom in their gear and builds. All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 139- Modded Console Wars!

Oak "broke down" and bought the ARK expansion even though he said he wouldn't just a week prior. The crew talks about the validity of speaking with your wallet in today's gaming world. Then it's on to more fun stuff! Sony announced the PS4 Slim and the PS4 Pro. Are the new members of the PS4 family worth upgrading to? What about all this talk of no 4K Blu-Ray? Microsoft feels confident the Xbox One S and Project Scorpio can more than compete with the new PS4s. Are they right about that? Is the console war heating up again with all the new announcements? Also Sony said "no" to mods for Fallout 4 and Skyrim. Seems silly since they were ok with it before Fallout 4 launched. Odd behavior indeed! And WoW launched a companion app that means no more productive days at work for Grif! All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 136- Gamescom & More

Ever wonder how to tell Oak and Grif apart? Find out this week! The show got off to a really weird start with chats about everyone's looks, but our hosts managed to pull themselves back on track eventually. Baka is playing an MMO on console and he's not so sure about the controls. Grif is excited about the impending release of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, but Chicken gets to play their copy first. Oak's still playing No Man's Sky. Grif talks about making the "right" choices in Fallout 4. There was plenty of news out of Gamescom this year about a game everyone's been playing. Blizzard announced plenty of things for, you guessed it, Overwatch! Bastion got an animated short, Zarya is coming to Heroes of the Storm, and Blizzard is making trolls a little nicer. Recently there has been an uproar about Overwatch's Summer Olympics loot boxes. Resident Evil 7 is putting off some long time RE fans with it's latest  trailer. Will the game be in first person rather than third this time around? Will there be an option to fight back? So far it looks like a really weird game of hide and seek. Konami is showing off it's first Metal Gear game since Kojima's departure. It is definitely ... different. There's a rumor about an Assassin's Creed 2 remaster that has Grif excited. She's also excited about the Bioshock remaster which finally got a graphical comparison video this week. All this and more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 134- Punishing Panda Face

This week's show is a pretty mixed bag and that's definitely a good thing! Grif's addicted to Skyrim (again). Baka and Oak try to turn her medieval experience into GTA. Then the crew likens Grif's Fallout 4 settlement to the Olympics in Rio because... it makes sense. Maybe. Chicken tried out Mordheim: City of the Dead. Turns out that game is super punishing  and might make people cry. The pre-Legion patch for World of Warcraft came out and not everyone is happy with it. The crew talk PvP changes and more. Grif lets everyone really know how she feels about WoW's Pandaran race. It's not exactly positive feelings either. Oak finished South Park: The Stick of Truth. Now he needs therapy, but he's ok. He'll be ok. One day. Oak also went back to GTA V for a bit this week. He finally met Trevor. Good times. In the news this week, Blizzard sends out a new wave for bans that has people crying on their forums. Hilarity ensures. Oak's excited about old school Disney games making a return on PC soon. The latest PokemonGO update has made it harder to catch Pokemon. Chicken tells the tale of how he lost an amazing Pokemon because of the update. TaleTell's Batman game launched and the PC players were not happy. The crew talks about fail frame rates and glitches in the game. 2K's vowed to continue supporting Battleborn even though it wasn't as successful as they'd hoped. Everyone discusses why it failed and how other companies have succeeded in supporting less popular games. All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 133- No Man’s Warmastered Edition

This week's episode got off to a rocky start, but our hosts know how to turn things around! Oak is juggling several games at once. He's working on GTA V, We Happy Few, and he just finished up South Park: Stick of Truth. Grif thoguth she had a moment in the sun by getting Play of the Game in one of her Overwatch matches this week. Turns out it was a total fail. Nice. Niantic has updated PokemonGO and removed the tracking feature. They also asked that the PokeVision site, a third party tacking site, be removed. So now how is anyone supposed to know where the Pokemon are without wandering completely aimlessly? Grif and Chicken recount seeing a PokemonGO player on the road. Playing while she was driving. Be safe out there, gamers! Disney Infinity will disappear completely for PC and mobile players early next year. Is that a raw deal for players who purchased the game on those platforms? Grif encourages and then immediately discourages theft. What is going on here?! No Man's Sky has been delayed for PC users... by three days. A few videos of NMS gameplay have leaked and Hello Games is asking that people not watch it for spoiler issues. For an infinitely, randomly generated game, would a few minutes of gameplay really spoil much? Three of the crew are playing World of Warcraft again. They share fun stories from their weekend escapades. The first Darksiders game is getting a remaster. As with Darksiders 2, the remastered title is a really terrible pun. Darksiders: Warmastered Edition. Yeah... All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 132- Ring Around the Reaper

Oak's back this week after a bit of internet trouble. Grif thinks she'd make a better leader than the current choices for US president. She also might have left her team out to dry in favor of playing hide and seek with Reaper in Overwatch. Pokemon Go is still everyone's go-to mobile game. The crew talk new catches, strategies, and more! Plenty of great stuff is happening in the co-op Let's Plays this week. From Halo to Sunset Overdrive, the stories abound! There's a live action Pokemon movie on the way featuring Pikachu as a detective. Two new Sonic games have been announced but not everyone is on board with the idea. The discussion of 4K vs 1080p popped up in the chat so our hosts offer their opinions on the matter. Chicken's looking forward to the upcoming third season of TellTale's The Walking Dead. He's also eyeing their Batman game, which looks amazing. A man who made threats toward Blizzard is now looking at possible jail time. Windows 10 is really pushing itself on people since it's coming up on the deadline to upgrade for free. Our hosts talk pros & cons of the OS. All this and more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 131- Pokemon, Assassins, and Team Kills

Oak's missing this week, but Chicken, Baka, and Grif keep things moving just fine without him. Pokemon Go is everywhere and even the IR crew have been sucked into the madness! Chicken may or may not have gotten a new phone specifically to play the addictive new game with. People are siting Pokemon Go as the reason for injuries, property damage, and more. Certain locales are asking to be removed as PokeStops, turns out there's a form you have to fill out and everything. Since there's little in the news, Grif and Baka talk about their Let's Play escapades. Apparently Baka is just a figment of Grif's imagination in Let's Play: Halo Combat Evolved. He's also working on take Grif's crown as Queen (or King, in his case) of Team Kills. Grif finally got to sit down with Assassin's Creed: Syndicate. While Ubisoft improved on some things between Unity and Syndicate, there are still some things that aren't quite right. Chicken has a hard time finding anything he likes about the game so he spends some time pointing out things that are "wrong" with the game in his opinion. All this and more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 129- Fireworks and Dragons

This week Grif's fallen back into her Fallout 4 addiction. She totally tuned out everything while working on the Automatron DLC because who needs real life when there are robots involved? Chicken and Baka are still in Overwatch bliss. When they aren't playing Overwatch, they're back to World of Warcraft. Blizzard definitely knows how to keep them hooked! Grif was ecstatic over the announcement of Bioshock: The Collection. So much so that she may ditch Chicken on his birthday just to get her plasmid fix. Call of Duty is getting dragons. Yeah, none of our hosts get it either. Resident Evil 7 isn't a ghost story but no one know exactly what it is yet. And since the the fourth of July is right around the corner, everyone shares their outrageous stories about fireworks and a total disregard for personal safety. PSA kids, don't try this at home... All this and more on the Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 128- Blizzard, Why You So Good?!

Oak finally finished Uncharted 4. He doesn't talk spoilers, but he was pleased with the way it tied everything up. Mass Effect is in the news. There isn't a truckload of new details about Andromedia, but they did confirm that they'll be avoiding addressing the end of ME3 in the new game. Since the series is taking a ten year time leap, there will be books to read to stay caught up! Baka goes on a tangent about how convoluted the Mortal Kombat universe is. His nerd is showing big time and it's wonderful! Chicken's still really wound up in the Warcraft movie and a few articles (and more importantly, their comment sections) validate some of the things Chicken's been saying all along. Oak theorizes why movie critics are panning the movie. Speaking of Blizzard, Overwatch had quite a few bits of news this week including removing a few features, adding some vanity  items, and seeing a 17 year old girl make pro OW players cry. Civ5 might be headed to schools! The devs are in talks to develop a version of the game that could be used to teach history and assess decision making skills. Grif and Baka talk about their escapades in Let's Play: Halo Combat Evolved. And Overwatch is giving League of Legends a run for their money, literally. Players are shifting to the new FPS in droves, but what does that mean for the eSports titan? All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 127- Post E3: To Hype or Not To Hype…

The crew takes a look at the major (and not so major) E3 announcements. They debate what we were supposed to take from Kojima's Death Stranding trailer and share their thoughts on the console announcements from Microsoft and Sony. The new Resident Evil game may have piqued some interests and the latest Detriot: Become Human trailer sparks quite a bit of speculation. Gears of War 4 showed off new gameplay that offers quite a new things that feel like some old things. Bulletstorm may be getting a remaster but nothing is confirmed. The crew debates the need for the PC version of Bethesda's Skyrim remaster. The God of War game gives Kratos' kid a really odd name and the crew can not get over it. All this and much more E3 goodness on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 126- Pre E3 Chatter

This week three of our four hosts have seen the Warcraft movie and have plenty to say about it. (They do keep it spoiler free, so no worries there!) When they finally stop all of the Blizzard talk, it's on to a brief bit of news from Ubisoft and The Division. Titanfall 2 is on the way and this time it'll have a single player campaign. Will that be enough to keep people interested this go around? Chicken's looking forward to State of Decay 2. The game was leaked along side Dead Rising 4 days before any E3 announcements. There were a few other E3 rumors that the crew discuss. Considering this will be up on Day 1 of the actual E3 show, it'll be fun to see who was right and who was wrong. Our hosts speculate on possible announcements and take a look back at last year's big stories. All this and more on the Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 125- Video Games: Art Evolved

Everyone's still stuck on Overwatch. It's the new crack, they just can't help themselves! One of the major gaming sites compared Blizzard's new FPS on PS4 and PC though there's a bit of controversy surrounding it. Oak's stuck in DOOM. Turns out demons are not nice things and they really enjoy killing people. Baka and Chicken are still very much wrapped up in Total War: Warhammer. Chicken's so into it that he's got three separate games going. The Warcraft movie is almost here and the crew are talking about their WoW pasts. There's some minor news talk about The Division as a movie, The Sims 4 and new gender options, and Resident Evil's upcoming releases. Things get a bit deeper as the crew discusses whether or not games count as art and why. To lighten things back up, Grif and Baka share stories from their upcoming Let's Play: Halo Combat Evolved videos. All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 123- FPS Master Race Movie

This week our hosts can not stop laughing! Grif giggles and the whole world giggles with her, apparently. Oak and Chicken have both been playing DOOM so they have plenty of stories to swap. Grif is still in love with the vast amounts of destruction in Just Cause 3. She might have been a bit overzealous about taking a base this time, airstrikes be damned! Overwatch is just around the corner and the crew are so excited! Blizzard just published the last Hero video before the launch and it featured Soldier: 76. Chicken and Grif try to figure out who the second hero was supposed to be in the video. Lots of theories to work through here. Chicken corners Grif on why PC Master Race is a thing and Oak tries to correlate that into a real life scenario. It doesn't work. There are several video game movies on the horizon, but no one is sure how they will actually manage a plot. Tetris is supposed to be a sci-fi thriller and the Fruit Ninja movie... There's no real word on that one, but everyone theorizes what it will be about. Resident Evil 7 is in the news again, this time because of the designer they're bringing in to work on it. Grif and Baka talk about their latest Let's Play exploits then Chicken explains how Grif killed Baka with a grunt... All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!
