Episode 214- Atomic Alien Anthem

Chicken has a new mic so please bear with our test run of this new gear! As far as games go, Chicken and Baka have been playing Sea of Thieves, of course. In addition to SoT, they also tried out Darwin Project, a Fortnite-eque free to play game on Steam. It's definitely been an experience, that's for sure. Grif is SO tired of being drugged and abducted in Far Cry 5! This is why she can't be nice to people any more. In the news: Atomic Heart is a game that has just been announced and already Grif is dying for it! Sony isn't saying what they're doing with the extra money they're collecting on Overwatch's new charity Mercy skin. A guy who DDoSed World of Warcraft years ago has been sentenced to jail time. Bioware announced a solid release window for the upcoming shooter RPG, Anthem. You can now play your Steam games on your phone or tablet (some strings attached, of course). And Nintendo's announced details on the online subscription service. All this and MUCH more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 213- Debating Addictive Games

The crew is running a little short on chatter about games they've played recently. Mostly because things have just been crazy for everyone lately! One of the few things everyone did get to try out was Deep Rock Galactic. Basically, it's dwarves and awesomeness. The big topic this week is Fortnite and its addictive nature. Is it too addictive? Are parents being to lazy? Is there a better way to monitor how much time people spend on a game? Do we need that kind of monitoring? Things get pretty lively as the discussion goes on. The new Red Dead Redemption trailer definitely caught some eyes this week. One of the endings of Life is Strange is being expanded via a comic. And Grif is still having a crazy time playing Far Cry 5, which you can watch on her YouTube channel! (Link below!) All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 212- Battle Royale Fever?

Oak has a big surprise for everyone this week! It's a little hard to pay attention after the surprise, but the show must go on! Grif explains why not to play Overwatch with Baka. Baka is looking for new gear for his fighting games even though no one will play them with him. And Chicken, of course, has plenty of salty Sea of Thieves stories. In the news: Dark Souls for Switch is delayed. CoD is cutting campaigns. Halo's multiplayer is on PC (sort of). Loot boxes are being considered gambling in some countries now. And the big debate this week is whether or not "battle royale" is just a game mode or a whole game itself and why every dev now feels the need to include it. All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 211- Roadmaps for Pirates and Radical Battles

This week the crew tried out a new battle royale game: Radical Heights! Is it as good as PUBG and Fortnite? Of course there's more Sea of Thieves stories to go around. The seas are salty and so are these poor virtual sailors. Overwatch's latest even, Retribution, is in full swing with new skins, emotes, and a game mode but not everything is working as intended. Chicken finally got to try out Shadow of War and he loves it! Well, he loves it until he loses his captains to ridiculousness. In the news: A Way Out has out preformed expectations. EA is shuffling their staff. Rare has outlined upcoming content for Sea of Thieves. PUBG is moving ahead with lawsuits against mobile clones. Blizzard updated Warcraft 3 for the first time in years. The King of Kong is losing his titled due to a cheating fiasco. All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

This week everyone's still getting their pirate on in Sea of Thieves. We're sure you're totally surprised... Also, don't trust Grif or Oak to ever be your hero. Their experiences with Far Cry 5 have proved are not good protagonists! In the news: Lawbreaks is pretty well finished but the developer, Boss Key Studios, is not. The System Shock reboot is back on track but now with less people working on it. Is Sam Fisher making a comeback? Private crews are coming to SoT. Will Grif ever finish Persona 5? At this rate, maybe not... In the news Geralt is coming to Soul Calibur 6. Dante from Devil May Cry (the real one) is coming to Monster Hunter. One of Chicken's cats makes a guest appearance for a bit! CATS! Grif has introduced her sister to the world of Fallout 4 and things are going SO SLOWLY! Hm... And to close the show out, everyone talks about what games should be made into movies/series. All that and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 206- Night Lights, Copy/Paste Heroes, & More!

This week the guys are super excited about Vermintide 2! They are less excited about their performance in Rainbow Six Siege. In the news, the ESRB is considering adding more labels to box art for "in game purchases". Blizzard announced a new hero for Overwatch. One of the devs of Paladins pointed out similarities between the new OW hero and one of their champions. Is this a pot and kettle situation? Detroit Become Human has a release date on someone will be posting their first run through to YouTube. Wonder who that could be??? Will Blizzard be remastering Diablo? So much speculation! And why is the US blaming video games for violence... again? All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 204- Perfectly Timed Pirating

Oak's back! Chicken's lamenting his lack of a partner for Hunt Showdown. Grif got a once in a lifetime environmental kill in Overwatch (which you can see on her YouTube, link below)! While away, Oak found a new game to play that seems like a clone of Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon. Kingdom Come: Deliverance is out, but was it ready to launch? THQ Nordic is slowly acquiring all of the previous THQ titles. Is that reaquiring or... no? There's finally, FINALLY a lady pro in esports! Yay! Progress! Of course that means it's time for a debate about why this is a first and why more ladies aren't in esports. The System Shock reboot may be in a bit of trouble but what's the root cause of the issue? And to finish the show out, there's tons of new details about Sea of Thieves to talk about! Also, Chicken has a couple of fun stories about his pirating from the weekend. Episode 203- Dead Studios Rising?

Quick, while Oak's away everyone make tree-related jokes! Grif, Chicken, and Baka hold down the fort while Oak is away. Chicken laments his deaths in Subnautica while Grif gets stuck with fail teammates in Overwatch! The news is pretty barren this week: Capcom slimmed down the studio behind Dead Rising and last year's Dawn of War title has already been given the boot by its devs. There was a pretty fun rumor from a couple of weeks ago that we failed to talk about. No time like to the present, though! So who, if anyone, is Microsoft most likely to attempt to acquire? Time for debates about the possible outcomes! All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

The Sea of Thieves beta is over, but Reddit users have data mined the latest update and now there's TONS of speculation as to what will be in the full game! In the news EA's adding loot crates back to Star Wars Battlefront 2 because they didn't sell enough copies to start with. You know, because adding the thing that caused people to avoid the game will definitely sell more copies... Will EA ever not be a terrible company? Will they kill Bioware? Speaking of Bioware, Anthem has been delayed again. Is anyone surprised? All this and MUCH more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

More SWBF2 controversy due to EA and their continued argument about needing their microtransactions. Grif makes possibly the best and worst pun of all time while the crew brainstorms better ways for SWBF2 to make money on the side. EA isn't the only company in hot water about microtransactions this week. Hi-Res, the studio behind Paladins, is introducing their own loot box based progression system and it has not be well received. And Nintendo is now getting into the cereal game and simultaneously introducing a new amiibo. The box is the amiibo. Yes really. All this and MUCH more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!
