Episode 196- The Game Awards & Beyond!

The Game Awards were this week. We'll give you one guess as to what a bulk of the show is about... Yep! So many fun things to discuss about this years' show! From crazy passionate creators to just play crazy weirdness, there's no shortage of topics to choose from. Beyond the awards, though, we've got a little bit of news and opinions to share: Destiny 2's locking players out of content with the new DLC, Scott Cawthon stealth launched a new FNAF game, and Fortnite is getting a limited time massive 50V50 mode. All this and MUCH more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 192- Massive Maps, Lawsuits, & EA Everywhere

This week Baka's MIA but Grif's had enough caffeine to make up for the missing person. Chicken's been very tactical all week, from his four man chicken dinner in PUBg to the coordination required for Squad, he's been very militant. Is Grif too good at Cities: Skylines? And Oak's been testing the waters in Assassin's Creed Origins. In the news, EA's mentioned not launching a new FIFA every year. Speaking of EA, guess who bought Respawn, the devs behind Titanfall... Remember that loot cave exploit from the first Destiny? Yeah there might be something similar in Destiny 2. Is the loot system just that unrewarding that farming a cave is more fun than playing the game?  TellTale just laid off a quarter of their staff. What does that mean for the future of the studio and what led to this massive staffing cut to start with? And Activision is being sued for using the Humvee logo in Call of Duty games. CoD, by the way, has been using the logo/vehicle since the first Modern Warfare. So... a decade. Yeah.  All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 190- Let’s Break It Down (Down The Well)

This week Chicken and Baka just got into the Dauntless beta and had a lot of run playing that. Has Baka already finished the South Park game? And how did he get stuck in an infinite combat loop? Grif hasn't been able to play much this week, but her sister did finish Uncharted 4! Since she enjoyed the heavy story so much, Grif had her start Final Fantasy XV. Will there be loads of crying? We'll find out! There was a clutch play in Overwatch that has the crew all excited. And Chicken has decided it'd be fun to stream Dark Souls 3. He hates himself. In the news, Chicken is lamenting the canning of the Resident Evil TV show that had been in the works. Nintendo managed to sneak in the use of GameCube controllers for the Switch with the latest update. Microsoft has officially axed the Kinect. Everyone isn't rejoicing in the streets. Wait, what's going on here? And then the big topic for the week: Is AAA single player dead? Are developers more interested in the mountains of cash multiplayer games can bring in as opposed to the single buy of solo campaigns? We'd love to know what you think about this topic! Does Nintendo even care about the topic of single player vs multiplayer or do they have their own corner of the market where that question doesn't matter? All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 187- Retro Gaming, Time Jumps, & Expensive Emulators

Baka lost track of time while also losing track of his people in Banished. Grif and Chicken went old school with some of their gaming this week. Old school as in N64 old. Wow. That nostalgia... and rage. Chicken is completely in love with Horizon Zero Dawn and finally found out how far into the future the game is set. Oak's been all about FIFA 18 but apparently it's not as much on the Switch if you want to play with friends. In the news, Atari might just be out of their collective mind with the price point for the upcoming Ataribox. Steam finally pulled over 150 asset flips from the platform. Why didn't they see this as a problem before? The voice actor strike is finally over. Did everyone win? Resident Evil is getting a board game. Can you guess which one of the crew is most excited? All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast! PS- Sorry for the typing noise, that was me. -Grif

Episode 184- Rabbids, Glitches, & Shaders

Oak's back from PAX West and he has plenty to share! Rabbids, Cuphead, Eco, and more, he's got lots to talk about! Grif has some strange moments with her sister while playing Saints Row IV. And Baka let's Chicken down in PUBg. In the news, South Park's got a crazy difficulty slider, Blizzard's opening their own eSports arena, and there's a fighting game that pits Jesus against Buddha. The story that seemed to pull the most attention, though, was Destiny 2's new microtransactoins.  Will the consumable shaders and eventual boatload of DLC be the game's undoing? All this and more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 181- Bunkers, Rednecks, & a Lack of DLC

Oak has managed to avoid a permadeath situation in Hellblade. There's still time for him to fail it up though! Baka and Chicken have been on a PUBg binge and they just can't keep quiet about it! Between bouts of PUBg, Chicken managed to start Resident Evil 7. He does his impression of the main villain and everyone dies. Yeah. Grif also started RE7 and scared herself. Now she can't play alone! In the continuing SisLynam stories, this week Grif suffers a hit and run at the hands of her sister in Saints Row. In the news, Sony's still not willing to allow cross-platform play. Is anyone really surprised? Mass Effect Andromeda is getting it's final single-player update before Bioware stops support of the game. That's right, no DLC or future plans after MEA's lackluster performance. That opens up discussion for how games fail at carrying on past a main trilogy. Does anyone do it successfully? Blizzard brings back Battle.net, again surprising no one. Skaven have come to Total War Warhammer! Baka and Chicken are super excited! All that and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 180- We’re Back!

Everyone's back and mostly healthy! After having a week away, everyone's got plenty of games to talk about. Oak's ventured into the world of video game rock operas. Chicken finished up Final Fantasy XV and was not disappointed. Everyone's got PUBg stories to share. Grif is stealing cars from her sister. And Baka is learning to be a better liar. In the news, Shadow of War is getting flack for the introduction of loot boxes. Is it really as controversial as everyone's making it out to be? Nintendo's being sued over the Switch, surprising literally no one. All this and more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 173- Early E3: So Much Goodness!

This week (and probably next week as well) is all about E3! We record on Sundays, so we got to chat about everything that had been shown off up until the Microsoft conference. So much to talk about & debate about! Will EA be awesome with Star Wars Battlefront 2 & free DLC or will microtransactions sell power? Shadow of War has a new trailer and lots of new things to be excited about. There are ads for The Evil Within 2 on Reddit. Will Bethesda announce a sequel at their presser? (Spoiler, YES! Evil Within 2 is confirmed for October.) Oak's excited about the new FIFA. Microsoft announced that Project Scorpio will be called the Xbox One X. Will Bioware's new IP, Anthem, give Destiny a run for its money? All this and more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 168- Classic Rage, New Darksiders, & Doing The Right Thing

Chicken and Baka are struggling with Heroes of the Storm and a decided lack of map rotation. Grif has come up with a creative way to change her Dragon Age Origins experience. Darksiders 3 has been officially announced, much to the delight of our hosts! 343 Industries thinks they made a mistake with Halo 5. And a list of "classic" games and their rage inducing bosses has the crew all up in arms. All this and more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 165- Warhammer, Scorpio, & Sugar Warfare?

Baka & Chicken are spreading vampirism in Total War Warhammer. Oak might finally play BulletStorm past the first quarter of the game. And Grif is, once again, in the clutches of Tropico addiction. In the news, Bioware has patched in a fix to help some of the weird face fails in Mass Effect Andromeda. Gearbox pulls its support from G2A after certain (reasonable!) demands weren't met. Microsoft showed off more details on Project Scorpio. And the makers of CandyCrush are making a Call of Duty mobile game. Call of Candy: Sugar Warfare, anyone? Is the franchise going to get a sugary makeover? Time to speculate! All this and more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 162- Addictions, Failed Animations, & Disappointing DLC

Oak's MIA but that doesn't stop the rest of the cast from having a good time. Baka's back with a sob story about his gaming PC. Chicken's been playing Banished and things are getting creepy. Grif finished Halo with her sister and, as it turns out, SisLynam is pretty good at not murdering her teammates! Grif's also fallen into a new addiction. This time it's Mass Effect! Speaking of the ME series, Mass Effect Andromeda has come under fire for some questionable animations. From there the crew gets distracted by talking about glitches in other games. We'd love to hear your favorite glitches, share 'em at InfiniteRespawn.com! The Nintendo Switch has been hacked, but the damage is pretty minimal. Are the online gaming communities starting to improve in decency? And, to the disappointment of many, Capcom has confirmed that it really is Chris Redfield who will be introduced in the upcoming DLC. All this and more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 158- Weird Ads & CGI Add-Ons

Oak's hung over which apparently makes him crazy. He and Chicken have been playing lots of For Honor. Grif's getting into the DM seat for a small Dungeons & Dragons campaign. One of Portal 2's writers has left Valve. Does this mean we'll never see a Portal 3? The new special message for Neir: Automat is a little weird to say the least. The Switch's UI has been shown off due to a shipping error and someone receiving their console early. Resident Evil has a new CGI movie on the way that should bridge the gap between RE6 & RE7. Does Leon actually know how to shoot a gun or what? All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Grif is being forced to play Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Ubisoft thought it'd be a good idea to put a vagina in Watchdogs 2. Turns out that's not such a bright idea. Assassin's Creed is wrapping up plots in a comic because that's worked so well for other games... The new TellTale Batman episode is out soon. And PS4 finally gets mods for Fallout 4! Oak's been pretty busy when it comes to gaming this week. He's tried out so many new titles! Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, Civ 6, all the things! Oak's games are also in the news! Titanfall 2's got some Blizzard-eque DLC plans. Battlefield 1 out performed the previous two Battlefield titles in first week sells. Hello Games' Twitter account was hacked. And Nintendo's keeping quiet on pricing for The Switch until January. All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 145- Red Dead Switch

Lots of big news to talk about this week! Oak started Battlefield 1 and got to be a pigeon. Baka and Chicken checked out Civ 6 and they love it! Grif and Chicken are still completely taken with Gears of War 4 but you'll have to keep up with that via their vids on YouTube! In the news, Rockstar unveiled Red Dead Redemption 2 and the world rejoiced. Mostly. Nintendo finally showed off the NX, now named the Nintendo Switch. One of the crew is skeptical, but everyone else seems to be excited. This week the voice actor's guild went on strike after a lack of equitable response from their employers. Grif is pretty passionate about the issue and it shows. All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Lots to talk about and discuss on this week's show. Chicken and Grif started Gears of War 4 and they are in love with it! Baka totally fails it up while Oak talks about his continued FIFA drama. In the news: TellTale announced the date for the next Batman episode. The Friday the 13th game was delayed until next year to add a single player mode. Silent Hill Downpour is now backwards compatible for Xbox One. This might only be exciting to Grif, but she's definitely pumped about it. Overwatch has a crazy good Halloween event running now through Nov 1st. And Oak tries to explain why Kojima is so legendary regardless of his eccentricity. All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 140- Assassin’s Stranding

While Oak's on vacation, Chicken, Grif, and Baka hold things down on the show! Chicken's been shiny hunting in Pokemon. He's had the game for days and still hasn't even started actually playing the game! Grif's in love with Bioshock all over again. The remastered collection came out on Tuesday and she can't stop fawning over it. Speaking of remasters, Ubisoft finally officially announced The Ezio Collection. There was quite a bit of Blizzard/Warcraft news to talk about just ahead of BlizzCon. A retirement, an upstart, and some hidden goodies top the Blizz stories. Kojima talked a little more about Death Stranding. "A little" is pretty accurate considering he didn't give away much more than everyone already know. Oh and now Kojima's got a cartoon drawn of him and some buddies that everyone's sure to recognize. Why? Because... Kojima? Sure, let's go with that. All of this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 139- Modded Console Wars!

Oak "broke down" and bought the ARK expansion even though he said he wouldn't just a week prior. The crew talks about the validity of speaking with your wallet in today's gaming world. Then it's on to more fun stuff! Sony announced the PS4 Slim and the PS4 Pro. Are the new members of the PS4 family worth upgrading to? What about all this talk of no 4K Blu-Ray? Microsoft feels confident the Xbox One S and Project Scorpio can more than compete with the new PS4s. Are they right about that? Is the console war heating up again with all the new announcements? Also Sony said "no" to mods for Fallout 4 and Skyrim. Seems silly since they were ok with it before Fallout 4 launched. Odd behavior indeed! And WoW launched a companion app that means no more productive days at work for Grif! All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 138- Walking Legion Ark

It's been a busy week for the IR crew! Chicken, Baka, and Grif came down with a case of Legion fever starting around 2am Tuesday morning. Seems like it's not letting up! The new World of Warcraft expansion has definitely got them talking about all the things that Blizzard really wowed them with. (harhar) In news not related to the the MMORPG titan, TellTale's made a few announcements about release dates. Chicken is looking forward to the next episode of the Batman game as well as a new season of Walking Dead. Is he possibly too attached to Clementine? Early Access title ARK: Survival Evolved has just released it's first "finished" paid DLC. Yes, a game that isn't even in full launch is releasing paid DLC packs. The reviews are understandably mixed. A remastered Mass Effect collection is now off the table. The CoD Modern Warfare remaster is still strapped to Infinite Warfare, but will it stay that way? All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!
