Episode 204- Perfectly Timed Pirating

Oak's back! Chicken's lamenting his lack of a partner for Hunt Showdown. Grif got a once in a lifetime environmental kill in Overwatch (which you can see on her YouTube, link below)! While away, Oak found a new game to play that seems like a clone of Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon. Kingdom Come: Deliverance is out, but was it ready to launch? THQ Nordic is slowly acquiring all of the previous THQ titles. Is that reaquiring or... no? There's finally, FINALLY a lady pro in esports! Yay! Progress! Of course that means it's time for a debate about why this is a first and why more ladies aren't in esports. The System Shock reboot may be in a bit of trouble but what's the root cause of the issue? And to finish the show out, there's tons of new details about Sea of Thieves to talk about! Also, Chicken has a couple of fun stories about his pirating from the weekend. All this and more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 203- Dead Studios Rising?

Quick, while Oak's away everyone make tree-related jokes! Grif, Chicken, and Baka hold down the fort while Oak is away. Chicken laments his deaths in Subnautica while Grif gets stuck with fail teammates in Overwatch! The news is pretty barren this week: Capcom slimmed down the studio behind Dead Rising and last year's Dawn of War title has already been given the boot by its devs. There was a pretty fun rumor from a couple of weeks ago that we failed to talk about. No time like to the present, though! So who, if anyone, is Microsoft most likely to attempt to acquire? Time for debates about the possible outcomes! All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 202- Speculation, Loot Crates, & Delays

Even though Oak hasn't had time to play games, Grif, Chicken, and Baka have plenty to talk about! From Overwatch to Just Cause 3, there's lots of stuff to talk about! The Sea of Thieves beta is over, but Reddit users have data mined the latest update and now there's TONS of speculation as to what will be in the full game! In the news EA's adding loot crates back to Star Wars Battlefront 2 because they didn't sell enough copies to start with. You know, because adding the thing that caused people to avoid the game will definitely sell more copies... Will EA ever not be a terrible company? Will they kill Bioware? Speaking of Bioware, Anthem has been delayed again. Is anyone surprised? All this and MUCH more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

The news is a bit of a mixed bag with everything from the Overwatch League starting up to reasons why Monster Hunter Worlds is going to be late for PC players. Episode 195- Cereal, Loot Boxes, & Star Wars Puns

Grif gets a new PC (mostly), Chicken and Oak played a game together (shocking!), and Baka gets to be a Star Wars nerd. Speaking of Star Wars, guess what's still in the news! More SWBF2 controversy due to EA and their continued argument about needing their microtransactions. Grif makes possibly the best and worst pun of all time while the crew brainstorms better ways for SWBF2 to make money on the side. EA isn't the only company in hot water about microtransactions this week. Hi-Res, the studio behind Paladins, is introducing their own loot box based progression system and it has not be well received. And Nintendo is now getting into the cereal game and simultaneously introducing a new amiibo. The box is the amiibo. Yes really. All this and MUCH more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 190- Let’s Break It Down (Down The Well)

This week Chicken and Baka just got into the Dauntless beta and had a lot of run playing that. Has Baka already finished the South Park game? And how did he get stuck in an infinite combat loop? Grif hasn't been able to play much this week, but her sister did finish Uncharted 4! Since she enjoyed the heavy story so much, Grif had her start Final Fantasy XV. Will there be loads of crying? We'll find out! There was a clutch play in Overwatch that has the crew all excited. And Chicken has decided it'd be fun to stream Dark Souls 3. He hates himself. In the news, Chicken is lamenting the canning of the Resident Evil TV show that had been in the works. Nintendo managed to sneak in the use of GameCube controllers for the Switch with the latest update. Microsoft has officially axed the Kinect. Everyone isn't rejoicing in the streets. Wait, what's going on here? And then the big topic for the week: Is AAA single player dead? Are developers more interested in the mountains of cash multiplayer games can bring in as opposed to the single buy of solo campaigns? We'd love to know what you think about this topic! Does Nintendo even care about the topic of single player vs multiplayer or do they have their own corner of the market where that question doesn't matter? All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 189- Loot Box Plague

Oak's back! He's got lots to talk about on the gaming front, too! Baka's been playing the new South Park game. Is it as offensive as the last one?  Chicken's playing Prey finally and his experience is pretty different from Grif's playthrough. And Grif has introduced her sister to her newest addiction: Uncharted. In the news: LOOT BOXES! Seriously, so much loot box news. Some games have too man, others seem to be doing better with the pseudo gambling. Who is trying to be better and who is on the opposite end of the spectrum? And seriously, did someone patent a system to essentially push microtransactions and loot boxes on you in a kind of underhanded manner? Yeah. They did... EA shutters Visceral, surprising many. What happens to the Star Wars game they were working on now? And there's a new dating sim in the news. Next year you'll be able to dungeon crawl and then date the weapons you find in said dungeon. Because... reasons! Boyfriend Dungeon, just what the hell is it?! All this and more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 185- Sheer Divinity, Toxic Jerks, & Copyright Quandaries

Oak's found a new addiction with Rimworld. Grif finished Final Fantasy XV. She cried. A lot. And then she laughed along with her sister at the hilarity that is Trials Fusion. Chicken started a trend among his friends by returning to Path of Exile. Baka might have finally met his Blood Bowl match. And Chicken, Grif, Baka, & Red have started Divinity 2! Time for more RPG fun times! In the news Blizzard is spending more time on curbing toxic behavior that it is on actual game development for Overwatch. Why is it so hard for people to be decent to each other? Blizzard's also in the news for launching their charity pet event early this year to get a jump start on helping those in need after several natural disasters. Destiny 2 has sold less physical copies than its predecessor. Then again the PC version hasn't launched yet and digital purchases are up. And PewDiePie said something stupid... Again. But does his stupidity warrant devs punishing him by posting copyright claims on his older, unrelated videos? All this and more on this week's Infinite Repsawn Podcast!

And Baka let's Chicken down in PUBg. In the news, South Park's got a crazy difficulty slider, Blizzard's opening their own eSports arena, and there's a fighting game that pits Jesus against Buddha. The story that seemed to pull the most attention, though, was Destiny 2's new microtransactoins.  Will the consumable shaders and eventual boatload of DLC be the game's undoing? All this and more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

We're back! Finally! Two weeks with no podcast, we've got plenty to talk about! Grif's obsessed with Prey but is she a bad guy? Oak, Chicken, & Baka have been playing sooooo much Breath of the Wild! Rime made Oak cry, someone's been lying in Deceit, and, oh yeah, more Zelda talk. Lots of Zelda. In the news: PSNow is getting PS4 games, finally. This week both Oak & Chicken are excited to finally have their very own Nintendo Switches. Is it all they hoped it would be? Grif is punching people in GTA V. Problem? What problem? She's totally fine. Speaking of GTA, Rockstar sent a cease and desist letter to the developer of of OpenIV, the biggest GTA V modding platform out there. Fans are not happy and they're complaining about it via Steam's review system. Ubisoft confirms Skull and Bones will have a campaign but just how will that fit with the multiplayer driven trailer they showed at E3? Bioware could be gearing up for 10 years worth of Anthem. Sounds familiar, huh Destiny? And the Steam Summer Sale has started! Time to spend pennies on games you may not play for years to come! All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Grif has lots of stories this week for what she's been playing. She's introduced her sister to Dying Light and GTA V. Things are ... interesting. In the news, we finally have details about Far Cry 5. Will the new information change Grif's mind about the game?  Netflix has put out a trailer for their Castlevania series and they've already renewed it for a second season. Will we ever get more details on the Witcher series they're working on? Is Nintendo partnering with Ubisoft for a Mario/Rabbids crossover? Seems like they may be! Possibly. Overwatch is celebrating a year of crazy fun with new maps, new skins, and lots of loot boxes. Red Dead Redemption 2 has been postponed until next yet. There's a free mount up for grabs in WoW if you've got an hour to run around collecting scraps of paper. Titanfall 2 makes Grif fall in love with her robo-buddy.
