Episode 141- League of Changes

This week's podcast is a bit on the wonky side. After tons of tech problems, this week's show was recorded offline. There's issues with the audio and video here and there, apologies for those few snags. Anyway, the crew holds it together and talks news, opinions and more! WoW's making changes to lore. If you want to skip the spoilers, that portion starts at 12:00, jump ahead to 24:10. There's a game that's not an Overwatch clone but it does look really similar... Is it a copycat or not? Changes are coming to the eSports side of League of Legends and it seems like the start of a beautiful thing. Maybe this is first step to Riot making a the eSports world better for their players and team owners. Episode 128- Blizzard, Why You So Good?!

Oak finally finished Uncharted 4. He doesn't talk spoilers, but he was pleased with the way it tied everything up. Mass Effect is in the news. There isn't a truckload of new details about Andromedia, but they did confirm that they'll be avoiding addressing the end of ME3 in the new game. Since the series is taking a ten year time leap, there will be books to read to stay caught up! Baka goes on a tangent about how convoluted the Mortal Kombat universe is. His nerd is showing big time and it's wonderful! Chicken's still really wound up in the Warcraft movie and a few articles (and more importantly, their comment sections) validate some of the things Chicken's been saying all along. Oak theorizes why movie critics are panning the movie. Speaking of Blizzard, Overwatch had quite a few bits of news this week including removing a few features, adding some vanity  items, and seeing a 17 year old girl make pro OW players cry. Civ5 might be headed to schools! The devs are in talks to develop a version of the game that could be used to teach history and assess decision making skills. Grif and Baka talk about their escapades in Let's Play: Halo Combat Evolved. And Overwatch is giving League of Legends a run for their money, literally. Players are shifting to the new FPS in droves, but what does that mean for the eSports titan? All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 96- Damned Ghosts and Naked AI

This week Red fills in for Baka and things get weird. Wait. Aren't they always weird? Our hosts talk about their spooky stream of Damned. Giggly ghosts and stone cold killers. That's all we'll tell you beforehand. Red talks about killing tribe pets in ARK. Oak shares his calamitous Halo 5 adventure. There's a bit of contention about new mechanics and story issues, but overall the episode is Halo 5 spoiler free! Now Halo 1-3 are definitely spoiled here. Frank O'Connor talked about why Cortana is naked in the Halo serious and honestly, it's a pretty stupid reason. There was an upset in the eSports world as pro League of Legends player DoubleLift was kicked from his former team CLG, and defected to the rival TSM. Pretty big news for two of the biggest LoL teams in North America. There's also an added dose of drama  tacked on by CLG's team owner making some less than professional Tweets about the situation. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 was also announced though it didn't make as much of an impression on our hosts as Deus Ex did. Mortal Kombat X will let players try out DLC characters before buying. The guys at Controller Issues tasked our hosts with talking about racism in games. While they didn't go too deep into the subject, they did offer up some food for thought.
