Episode 222- Lucky Treasure Hunters & Not So Shocking Surprises

This week Chicken and Baka have spent a lot of time play Heroes of the Storm. Chicken started Cuphead and so far he has no thoughts of rage quitting... So far. Grif started playing WoW again and is STILL bitter about Baka stealing an epic mount from her. Oak finished Detroit: Become Human but it was very different experience from the way Chicken and Grif played it. In the news: Uncharted's Nathan Drake has apparently never taken a bullet. Rainbow 6 Siege just got a new chat bot to moderate players and it is VERY strict. Konami shut down a fan remake of PT, surprising literally no one. A study shows more than 50% of parents in the UK allow underage kids play M-18+ rated gamed. Another thing that shocked no one. Darksiders 3 finally has a release date! All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 214- Atomic Alien Anthem

Chicken has a new mic so please bear with our test run of this new gear! As far as games go, Chicken and Baka have been playing Sea of Thieves, of course. In addition to SoT, they also tried out Darwin Project, a Fortnite-eque free to play game on Steam. It's definitely been an experience, that's for sure. Grif is SO tired of being drugged and abducted in Far Cry 5! This is why she can't be nice to people any more. In the news: Atomic Heart is a game that has just been announced and already Grif is dying for it! Sony isn't saying what they're doing with the extra money they're collecting on Overwatch's new charity Mercy skin. A guy who DDoSed World of Warcraft years ago has been sentenced to jail time. Bioware announced a solid release window for the upcoming shooter RPG, Anthem. You can now play your Steam games on your phone or tablet (some strings attached, of course). And Nintendo's announced details on the online subscription service. All this and MUCH more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 213- Debating Addictive Games

The crew is running a little short on chatter about games they've played recently. Mostly because things have just been crazy for everyone lately! One of the few things everyone did get to try out was Deep Rock Galactic. Basically, it's dwarves and awesomeness. The big topic this week is Fortnite and its addictive nature. Is it too addictive? Are parents being to lazy? Is there a better way to monitor how much time people spend on a game? Do we need that kind of monitoring? Things get pretty lively as the discussion goes on. The new Red Dead Redemption trailer definitely caught some eyes this week. One of the endings of Life is Strange is being expanded via a comic. And Grif is still having a crazy time playing Far Cry 5, which you can watch on her YouTube channel! (Link below!) All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 208- Cheap Fighters, Ports, and Epic Fails

This week everyone's still wound up about Vermintide 2! It's such a good game that we can't help but talk about it! The highs, the lows, the crushing defeats, it's all here. Will Grif ever finish Persona 5? At this rate, maybe not... In the news Geralt is coming to Soul Calibur 6. Dante from Devil May Cry (the real one) is coming to Monster Hunter. Microtransactions are still in Star Wars Battlefront 2 but is that too little to late? ARK, and Fortnite are coming to mobile because... reasons. What's the deal with the new ports to mobile for everything? And the final installment of the Tomb Raider origin story has been announced. All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 207- Sea of VerminWatch

There's lots of Vermintide and Sea of Thieves talk this week! Actually, just expect lots of Sea of Thieves talk for the next few shows, that's definitely going to come up all the time. One of Chicken's cats makes a guest appearance for a bit! CATS! Grif has introduced her sister to the world of Fallout 4 and things are going SO SLOWLY! In the news: Nintendo teased a Super Smash Bros for the Switch. Will the upcoming Kirby game finally bring Grif to the Switch for good? Are Luigi and Waluigi the superior brothers? Valve is planning to start making games again! Will we see Portal 3, Half Life 3, or Left4Dead 3? Grif makes a case for a VR version of Bioshock. Ubisoft announced plans for The Division 2, but what's so different about it? Fortnite is coming to mobile and looking to have cross platform play with all of their versions. XB1 vs Mobile players? Hm... And to close the show out, everyone talks about what games should be made into movies/series. All that and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 205- Scary Microtransactions & the Decade of Siege

This week everyone seems a bit scattered. Does that make for a better show? We'll find out! Grif's still working her way through Persona 5 and things are just getting weirder as she goes. Chicken's not going to be able to stream Crash Bandicoot as promised. Is his reason for not doing so an acceptable one? And Baka educates everyone on the PSP Go... because that's a thing that exists. In the news: Have Konami mastered the "art" if microtransactoins in Metal Gear Survive? Ubisoft says Rainbow Six will be around for the next ten years. Will they manage to keep the game fresh and going for that long? Blizzard just launched an update for Warcraft 3. Is this indicative of a remaster on the way? Nintendo's under fire for their preorder refund policy. And the upcoming Sonic movie has a rough release date. Will it be worth seeings? All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 203- Dead Studios Rising?

Quick, while Oak's away everyone make tree-related jokes! Grif, Chicken, and Baka hold down the fort while Oak is away. Chicken laments his deaths in Subnautica while Grif gets stuck with fail teammates in Overwatch! The news is pretty barren this week: Capcom slimmed down the studio behind Dead Rising and last year's Dawn of War title has already been given the boot by its devs. There was a pretty fun rumor from a couple of weeks ago that we failed to talk about. No time like to the present, though! So who, if anyone, is Microsoft most likely to attempt to acquire? Time for debates about the possible outcomes! All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 202- Speculation, Loot Crates, & Delays

Even though Oak hasn't had time to play games, Grif, Chicken, and Baka have plenty to talk about! From Overwatch to Just Cause 3, there's lots of stuff to talk about! The Sea of Thieves beta is over, but Reddit users have data mined the latest update and now there's TONS of speculation as to what will be in the full game! In the news EA's adding loot crates back to Star Wars Battlefront 2 because they didn't sell enough copies to start with. You know, because adding the thing that caused people to avoid the game will definitely sell more copies... Will EA ever not be a terrible company? Will they kill Bioware? Speaking of Bioware, Anthem has been delayed again. Is anyone surprised? All this and MUCH more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 195- Cereal, Loot Boxes, & Star Wars Puns

Grif gets a new PC (mostly), Chicken and Oak played a game together (shocking!), and Baka gets to be a Star Wars nerd. Speaking of Star Wars, guess what's still in the news! More SWBF2 controversy due to EA and their continued argument about needing their microtransactions. Grif makes possibly the best and worst pun of all time while the crew brainstorms better ways for SWBF2 to make money on the side. EA isn't the only company in hot water about microtransactions this week. Hi-Res, the studio behind Paladins, is introducing their own loot box based progression system and it has not be well received. And Nintendo is now getting into the cereal game and simultaneously introducing a new amiibo. The box is the amiibo. Yes really. All this and MUCH more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 190- Let’s Break It Down (Down The Well)

This week Chicken and Baka just got into the Dauntless beta and had a lot of run playing that. Has Baka already finished the South Park game? And how did he get stuck in an infinite combat loop? Grif hasn't been able to play much this week, but her sister did finish Uncharted 4! Since she enjoyed the heavy story so much, Grif had her start Final Fantasy XV. Will there be loads of crying? We'll find out! There was a clutch play in Overwatch that has the crew all excited. And Chicken has decided it'd be fun to stream Dark Souls 3. He hates himself. In the news, Chicken is lamenting the canning of the Resident Evil TV show that had been in the works. Nintendo managed to sneak in the use of GameCube controllers for the Switch with the latest update. Microsoft has officially axed the Kinect. Everyone isn't rejoicing in the streets. Wait, what's going on here? And then the big topic for the week: Is AAA single player dead? Are developers more interested in the mountains of cash multiplayer games can bring in as opposed to the single buy of solo campaigns? We'd love to know what you think about this topic! Does Nintendo even care about the topic of single player vs multiplayer or do they have their own corner of the market where that question doesn't matter? All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!
