Episode 195- Cereal, Loot Boxes, & Star Wars Puns

Grif gets a new PC (mostly), Chicken and Oak played a game together (shocking!), and Baka gets to be a Star Wars nerd. Speaking of Star Wars, guess what's still in the news! More SWBF2 controversy due to EA and their continued argument about needing their microtransactions. Grif makes possibly the best and worst pun of all time while the crew brainstorms better ways for SWBF2 to make money on the side. EA isn't the only company in hot water about microtransactions this week. Hi-Res, the studio behind Paladins, is introducing their own loot box based progression system and it has not be well received. And Nintendo is now getting into the cereal game and simultaneously introducing a new amiibo. The box is the amiibo. Yes really. All this and MUCH more on this week's Infinite Respawn Podcast!

Episode 66- Sunset Overlords & Angry Honey Badgers

This week things get a little crazy. Actually, maybe that's just the norm for our hosts at this point. Regardless, there's lots to talk about! Grif has had a change of heart and has also apparently become our new Overlord. All Hail Grif? Oak's been working on Far Cry 4 and the wildlife still hates him. Grif started Far Cry 4 but she's having a little trouble with the main character. She's also still dying to get her hands on Borderlands: The Handsome Collection. Will Oak end up picking it up before her? The main news this week revolves around Nintendo. Their most recently announced Amiibo wave is already sold out! Splatoon and Mario Maker get release dates and both of our hosts are excited to get their hands on these games. So much so that Oak Tree proposes a community event within Mario Maker! Attack on Titan has a 3DS game on the way. There's news that didn't really seem like "news" dealing with Batman Arkham Knight and the upcoming Gears of War game. Sunset Overdrive gets a price drop and Oak might finally go pick it up. Oak and Grif come up with a new game for the show. It's like Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon only instead of KB, they swap in industry juggernauts Troy Baker and Laura Bailey. All this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn!

Episode 63- Endearing Horse Heist

Battlefield Hardline shows off a light-hearted easter egg in their otherwise dark and gritty game in the form on drivable couches. Grif finally takes the pluge and joins the world of Skyrim. Dragon fails, companion complaints, and a plethora of other stories seem to indicate she's enjoying her new addiction. She also now wants horses as a travel option in every game, but this might mean she has to exclude some people from her multiplayer games. Sony's being less than helpful to a PSN member whose account was stolen. Our host talk about their most anticipated games of all time. Japan will be hosting Amiibo Super Smash Bros tournaments. Uncharted 4 is delayed, but is that really a bad thing? Goat Simulator is coming to Xbox One and Xbox 360. GTA's new Heists are finally online, but they broke the servers on the first day. How did this prevent Grif from taking care of her newest "pet"? Far Cry 4 gets Yetis. Can bad guys be creepy and endearing?  Oculus Rift is getting an addon that will introduce smells to the VR experience. This War Of Mine gets new DLC and the proceeds go to charity. All of this and much more on this week's Infinite Respawn!

Episode 60- Forced Amiibo Order

Grif's been sick all week, but it's given her plenty of time to finish a couple of games! Oak Tree started Far Cry 4 and has lots more Game of War stories to share! The Warcraft movie has come under fire about it's use of CGI. Do our hosts think the film crew will use the tech wisely or will it just be over the top as some suspect? GTA V teaches Grif that she still hates Golf. The Order: 1886 launches to mediocre reviews. It also spurs a community wide conversation on the importance of length in a $60 game. The Stomping Land dev goes silent after a highly successful Kickstarter campaign. Will we ever see the game in a finished state? A studio backs out of going to PAX East due to death threats. The mayor of Buffalo, New York is hosting a game design competition in hopes of finding a fun game that shows the city's residents that gainful employment and community work is a good thing. A Destiny player loses their characters after using PS4's new Share Play feature. Bungie's forcing matchmaking on players interested in the weekly heroic strikes. Darksiders 2 is getting a new gen update but will it remain a PS4 exclusive? Twitch announces a convention of it's own. And  our hosts talk top ten Amiibo! All this and more on this week's show!
